How do I change my soft keys?

I want them to link me to something else.

under settings i think you can do that :) i honestly dont remember th whole thing.

There is also this method:

Change the Softkey Buttons

Create the following keys and Strings in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3
112 is the left key and 113 is the right.

Now for each key create a new string named Open and set the target path.


Another popular option is also WM5 NewMenu which gives quick acess to create new SMS, email, contacts, etc.
