Found original rom but get an error when running it
 

Well I found it and tried it and got error 100 incompatible device. I downloaded the verizon version. It did say that it could not downgrade. I have hemi's wm6 on there now. Do you think they would spank me if I just returned it like this? My replacement was free.

I just received a replacement for my 6700 - the old one sounded terrible. None of the links I have for UTstars downloads work any more. How can I put the original rom back? Were can I find it?

I think the point was that the links are dead. UTStarcom updated their site again. Grrr.

No they're not. Before posting this I tried the Verizon and it works. If they're not I have the Verizon one saved on my machine so I can upload to FileDen if you want but I just tried again and it works.

Some links are dead, some links might not. But if you goto UT starcom you can find it.

click on "here" then click on "visit our handset website" button and it looks lie UTstarcom again. then go browse for your phone.

I found the verizon APA_Verizon_31430_314208_14300_WWE_Ship_2.exe file but when I tried to put the rom on the phone with activesync it failed (error 100 incompatible device). There was a disclaimer that said you cannot downgrade. What am I doing wrong? Is this the correct file?
