Grrr!!!

While using BuildOS to reflash my phone I just started getting this error:

kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM.rar
File create error

This has got me totally confused. I just used BuildOS earlier today and it worked just fine. Now I am getting this error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I should also say I am attempting to reflash with "LennySH_19213" for the second time.

I get it sometimes as well so what you have to do is go here and download the file manually and place it in the following directory on your HDD. Then restart BuildOS

C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Kitchens

I will do that if it happens again. I did get it working, I guess I was trying to add something to it that wasn't meant for the Apache or something.

I just followed the suggested steps and am still getting the error in question. Any other ideas?

I used to go through and delete the temporary build files. Dunno if that will help.

BTW, a better thread title would have gotten you more views/responses. I only clicked out of sheer morbid curiosity.

I was having the same problem, but it cleared up when I de-selected the following modules:

HTC Camera Album

HTC Vogue Camera

It may be a different module that is affecting you...

Also, change your environment variable so that the TEMP directory is pointing to something like C:\temp. This will make sure you don't run into the 254 character limit on file names while the BuildOS is running.

I got it working, I was attempting to put in something that wasn't meant for the Apache, I am just not sure what. Go figure...live and learn. Anyway, it is working just fine for me as of right now.

Thanks for the info though
