I ran Angstrom 2007 on an ipaq hx4700 - it was ok. Last I checked it did not support cell modems or voice calls, it barely supported the wifi chip in the 4700... Can't imagine it would support much on the 6700.

You may have better luck with Android.

There are some updates on the Angstrom site but for the most part the 6700 seems to come to a stop in the linux department. WiFi is the one thing I'd like to work. I see a some people have been building the Tiacxwln driver for standard builds but I guess it takes more work on PPC. It would be nice if Texas Instruments would release the code, like that'll happen. Thanks for the info.
