Help, Wifi Problem

Well I had no problems until I downloaded Wefi (Program) onto my 6700 and uninstalled it. Now everytime I want to turn wifi on, I have to reset my phone and wifi will turn on. But if I turn my phone off and back on, I am not able to activate wifi anymore UNLESS I reset once again.

Any help on how to restore my wifi settings to there original state? I already tried one of the solutions on their forums but that still didnt work out for me.
This is the link to the supposedly Wifi Bug Fix http://www.wefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6

I remember someone some time back had an issue along the same lines as yours with the same program but IDK what the outcome was. Maybe you can search the threads and see what they did, if anything.

Yeah, the OP was foreign and hacked onto a OUS CDMA system. He was afraid to do the hard reset and lose his config. If ur US, try the hard reset.

Well the Hard Reset would definately fix it but I dont wanna have to go through the trouble of goin 2 sprint and reloading my contact, reinstalling all my apps, and loosing all my saved text messages. Im waiting for a response from the wefi support but in the mean time, if you guys can help, Itll be quicker and better.

Im guessing maybe I can change something in the registry to fix it but have no idea.
Thanxs, but Im not ready for the hard reset just yet.

Backup your contacts it don't take too much time. Why would you need to go to Sprint by the way?

You can go and download PIMBackup which does Mail, SMS, MMS, contacts, appointments and you can specify other folders if you want

Maybe install the latest version, soft reset, uninstall, then soft reset again?

Thanks guys, I really apreciate the help but I fixed it. I found Pim Backup in another forum, backed up ma txts and contacts, hard reset and restored. Although it took 2 hours lol, but Im happy. And Weedahoe, I know you mentioned Pim Backup but I did this before you mentioned. But I still really appreciate it, Thanxs

NP and lemme tell you bro, PIMB is a God send. I have a lot of friends who have the 67 and they either are always losing it and getting it replaced or just upgrading. So I keep a cloned copy of thier phones and use PIMB all the time before doing any work on theirs. Glad you got it working though
