How Do I Get IE 4 Working on Wi-Fi?
 

I can't get IE to browse the web on wi-fi unless I wait a long time then sometimes it will work after 10-15 minutes! I think it might be trying to dial over the phone network instead of wi-fi. On the VZ website it shows how to disable dialing everytime in IE but my version of IE doesn't have those options, just clearing cookies and selecting the home page. Is there any hope for getting IE to work or should I try Opera instead?

What version on IE are you using because in you title you say IE4 and I think you should be a bit more up to date than that. What ROM are you using also?

Rom is ver. 2.07.20 WWE and IE ver. is 4.01. I'd like to be able to get wi-fi to work but I'm starting to think Verizon crippled IE because all the network options have to do with setting up modems with phone numbers and it doesn't have any option to select wi-fi or to to stop it from dialing.

You need to update several things on your device starting with your ROM. Go here and download this ROM which is fast and stable and get you where you want to be.......seriously.

It is much more up to date than where you are at now. Once you have that going you will find things alot more smooth and easy
