Looking for a aku 3.5 for an alltel 6700
 

I have a ppc 6700 threw alltel. I have been trying all these 3.5 roms and have no luck with any of them. I fix one problems with a dif rom and run into another =/. Let me describe what I need in a ROM.

I use palm messaging app which is great because I am a huge texter and do 10,000+ txt monthly. However every time I try to install the palm messaging app and overwrite the ROM files it seems like my radio gets disabled. I say this because the symbol where the service is located has a "!" next to it instead of bars. When I click on the service symbol it says No Service, and cannot find a service provider, however I can connect to the internet and recieve text messages. When I go to use the phone it says cprog is not a Pocket PC application.

So anyhow was wonderng if there was a rom that had the following:

- Palm Messaging App
- Improved Speed hacks
- Crossbow themes and sounds
- And whatever else makes a good custom rom

Not to much to ask for, but really just want the palm messaging app built in. Thanks, and if anyone would kindly build a custom ROM for me and needs the palm messaging app zip, please PM me.

I personally will not put the Palm app in my roms. This just my preference, but it is to avoid any issues with the fact that Palm contacted ppcgeeks about the app being given away here.

Sounds like you need a full blown IM program. Too bad you can't get friends on MSN or something like that.

If you are installing the palm messaging app to a 3.3 or 3.5 rom you do not need to overwrite any rom files. That is done for only AKU < 2.3. Hard reset your phn, make sure it is working like normal, if not flash original carrier rom from utstar.com website then upgrade to custom rom and then install the app without overwriting any rom files. Also, wat version of the palm app are you using.
