I cant hear anything...

I recently plugged my phone up to my car stereo and listened to it for a while but as soon as I unplug it from the stereo jack, I cant hear anything. I can listen to things thru the stereo jack but no speaker phone, no ringtones, nothing... WHAT THA HECK? I did a soft reset, lost all my numbers doing the hard reset... still nothing.

Now what?

The jack itself is "stuck" - common issue - just plug and unplug a headphone plug in to the jack a few times and it should clear up.

There are some other fixes that people have found, do a quick search if my suggestion doesn't fix it.

Thank you sir! I stuck a coat hanger in there and now it works fine! I appreciate the quick response.

Re: I cant hear anything...

pal dont try that often.. this ppc has this common problem.. u just have to take a pin in the jack hole and press on the metal plates there to open or close them and ull get ur sound back.. ur hanger did that.. but remember if u do that without looking carefully ull damage the metal pltes and then one day u wont hear anything..
the sensible thing is to avoid using headphones in this thing.. its a common problem.. and using the pins eventually screws up the plates.. and one day it wont work at all.. besides those stupid plates are so sensitive that. u ll have problems like no sound on n off... and u ll have to tap ur ph.. or sumthing to be able to hear that strategic call. if u wanna car stero... get a bluetooth stereo.. i have a sony hbh ds 200.. its got a stereo jack jut like the ppc in it and u can listen damn good music from it in ur car or otherwise. voice command also works great in it.. been using it for 6 months. good luck
btw.. u can try all this hearing by putting on music and then playing with the pins..that way ull be able to tell if u got ur sound back..
