PiE opens an instance of file explorer with it...

Sprint Claims it is a piece of malware called adclicker (ad-clicker, ad clicker?) However, this would be all well and good except that I have spybot and pCillin antivirus and all runs come back 100% clean. Also, I took copies of all the files on my ppc and scanned them on my pc (Spybot, Onecare, Avira, AVG, Norton, MS malware remover) all came back clean.
Yesterday, I flashed Kervin's super clean AKU 3.5 (totally kicks ass...I highly recommend it (except for that windows live thingy LOL!) ) Nevertheless, this amazing work of coding survived!!!!! I know this because I tried it before I installed anything beyond the ext rom.
Now, I checked throughout the forum to no avail (learned a lot!) and this thing would appear to be indestructible. Has anyone had a similar experience? any ideas?

I'm not sure on this one,but I have one thung you can check.

Check that the shortcut your clicking on and the iexplore.exe files both have the system check in their properties. you could also add read only and archive to each of them.

They behave differently with these properties not checked.

Make 1000000% certain that you performed a hard reset after flashing Kirvin's ROM (or any ROM you find here). People skipping that step is responsible for many of the problems people have post-update. If there's any doubt in your mind, do it again. Hold down the two - keys on the front of the PPC and while they're held down put the stylus in the reset hole.

If it persists beyond that then please provide more details about how you are launching PIE. I can tell you right now though that Sprint is talking out of its ass and this has nothing to do with any virus or malware.

opera can break the default browse setting. if you have installed, try to set opera to default browser, save, then unset it and save. this should fix the problem.
