Vibrate not Functioning

I can't say for certain that my vibrate ring option ceased to function after the last upgrade (6.1 about a month ago) but my phone won't vibrate anymore.

I usually have it set to ring and vibrate.

Anyone have this happen? Is it something that can break?

Did a little digging and ended up giving my phone a few love taps and got the vibrate to work for a little but it has stopped again. Look like my motor is on it's way out.

Anything I can do to service the motor?

Can I get it replace?

Want to hang on to this phone until a good replacement is available!

This is a common issue with the 67s. I have had more than a few where the vibe will work sometimes and sometimes it will not. It will sit on my desk while I am here at work and I can watch the screen come on as a new txt or call is about to come in and sometimes it will vibe and sometimes it will not. I can reach over and bump it or thump it and it will vibe so thats just how it is and always has been. I am not sure if it is a space issue inside the unit or if the motor itselt is just crap. But just know you are not alone and many of us have this issue.

Sounds like a problem im glad i dont have yet. Mine is just sometimes weak and sometimes really strong. But the loud ringer makes up for almost all the time.

Re: Vibrate not Functioning

Usually the vibrating unit isn't attached to the board. It has a couple of contact pegs that hit spots on the board. This is true of Nokia and Motorola, also. Goto Lowes, get the multi-driver that has torx tiny through tinier, take it apart, and re-seat the vibrater.
