Programs on my 6700 can't be removed with "Remove Progr

My 6700 has been acting fine until today when I wanted to delete a program. I tried to uninstall using the "Remove Programs," I highlight the program, and tap to uninstall but comes up with "program so & so".unload cannot be found. I looked for the .unload files and they are present, so why are the programs not uninstalling? I had to resort to manually deleting the program files, registry keys, and whatever related to the program manually. I would like to fix this small problem if anyone could help me out with this, Thanks.

Did you try to uninstall anything else? It's possible just that program's uninstall info was messed up. It can happen.

First terminate the program using a real task manager so it's not in use. Then try the uninstall.

If that doesn't do it chack the windows/startup folder and see if there's a link starting it up, delete the link if there is one and soft reset. Try the uninstall again.

If that still doesn't do the trick, SKTools will nearly always do the trick. The trial will only show the last 6 progs installed, you need the full version for the rest.

The problem that I am having now is that when I now install any new program other that the ones installed, the newest installed programs will not uninstall using the Remove Programs. I want to fix that. I also have th newest version of Pocket Mechanic and it also cannot uninstall the newer installed programs. Again, the old programs I installed before this problem started do uninstall fine but newer installed programs will not. Its driving me crazy.

I dunno man it sounds like maybe some corruption on your device. You might need a hard reset to clear it up.

Thats what I wanted to avoid, I have around 90 some games and programs installed and I don't want to go through the whole install everything routine. Last time I had to do that took me more than half the day to install, re-register, an setup everything like how I had before. I even used a back up I had made a couple days back before the problem started and still didn't work.
