A newb with some questions
I have what is a T-Mobile Dash, it is unbranded HTC early phone. How do I tell if it is unlocked? I have an AT&T sim card in it and it works fine. I want to upgrade from Windows Mobile 5 to Windows Mobile 6 or even better 6.1. I have found the t-mobile windows mobile 6 upgrade, but would like to understand better what that means.
I am not even sure that the HTC titan is the s620 phone, so if it is not please let me know and I will repost in the appropriate forum. Thanks in advance for any help, Rob |
Re: A newb with some questions
Well I cant tell you what you have but I can tell you that you dont have a 6700 bc none of them are GSM devices with SIMs. Why not post a pic? We need to get you to the right place first.

Re: A newb with some questions
Exactly what Psxmoe said (and beat me to). From looking at it, yes it does look like a SIM but the 6700 (in any carrier) has never been on any GSM carrier. Here are some internal links for you to read about it.

There isn't a forum at this site for that phone, but there is one over at XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=309 I don't really know that much about the phone though, unfortunately. I only know what I do because a friend has it. Sorry I couldn't help more. |
Re: A newb with some questions
Yeah, this forum is more concentrated on CDMA, whereas XDA is more GSM.
