PushEffect "push" email
 

PushEffect uses an SMS to trigger a receive in Pocket Outlook yielding push email. Basically, you have your mail server (POP or IMAP) forward an incoming message to your phone and PushEffect is supposed to trigger a receive when the SMS is received. www.qorefunctions.com

I have been unable to get it to work with the Palm Messaging app.

Has anyone been able to get this to work with the Palm Messaging application on a 6700?

Has anyone here given this a try?

Up until 4 months ago, I've been using Arnaud PushMail client. It's similar to the one you're talking about. It works well. I set up my home PC to check mail every minute, and forwards to my phone.
