Softkeys won't work -- Help!!!

Ok,

I'm an idiot, and I dropped my 6700 in a cooler full of water....

After two days of letting it dry, it powered on, but required a hard reset. It's up and running now, but none of the keys on the front of the phone work (except the joystick).....

I was under the impression that this is a software problem (because the buttons do work to do a hard reset), but after upgrading to Rod's Clean WM6 ROM (since I lost all of my data anyway I figured there's no time like the present) the buttons still don't work....

This makes it very difficult to answer the phone or end calls....

Any help on how to fix this would be GREAT!!!!

Yes, you are. Just kidding... ;-)

Seriously though, if drying out doesnt help then take it apart and check everything out physically. If all is connected good and seems to be fine then you can either place a claim and get another unit or buy a parts phone off ebay and do it that way.

However, if you do a claim do not turn your phone back in so you can keep it as a backup and spare parts itself.

There is a disassembly guide... search.

"Seek and ye shall find, and whatnot..."

There are guides here and all over the net, seriously and as said before, you will just have to search here on the board or google. Here is a link and you will just have to look around for others. This is a link from PPCFreaks' sig BTW and not mine.
