Installed 6.1 and now Bluetooth broken.
 

Well I was really enjoying 6.1 until i got to the bluetooth part. I paired it with my car stereo after trying about 12 times and it finally connected. Did its thing and worked for about 3 calls then got less responsive and now it won't pair up again for the hands free.

It pairs up for a2dp as well but the playback is very choppy.

I paired 3 other phones up just fine.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I searched and found nothing. Otherwise the rom works great.

There are many people who have issues with 6.1 and I see a lot of those with BT. Can I ask you why you decided to go with 6.1? I mean you get no real benefits from it. It is nice to have but doesnt give you any real advantage really. What player are you using for your playback? I remember there were issues with WMP and skipping

Well I also rolled back to a version of 6.0 and still had similar problems. What version of 6 seems to have the most stable bluetooth?

I am not too concerned about the streaming music, I just want the hands free part to work correctly. It connects occasionally and when it does it just seems like it lags behind. It wont pick up a call till I have been talking for about 20 seconds and takes a while to call out.

yeah i had the same problem with pairing to other phones .but the only reason that i use 6.1 now is for the threaded messaging. im using dcd's rom so issue with the are fixed.

So did dcd's rom fix your bluetooth issues? If so do you have a link so I can download it.

it might but i dont know if it would work with pairing with a car. im not sure if he makes roms for the 6700. i think he just makes them for the 6800. ill look into though

Ive got the Palm threaded s/w if you want it. Many of us still think it is better than the software on WM6(.1) anyway. Plus there are so many other freeware threaded apps so if that is the only reason you went to 6 then you caused more issues than you tried to resolve...lol

I had threaded on my wm5 rom. What is the best 3.5 around these days and where can I download it. I am thinking about going back but can't find any new roms for it.

Unknown Zone has the best for Sprint and I have it for VZW. Which do you need?

Weedahoe i always see you asking why people upgrade to 6 and 6.1 just curious what dont u like about it?
