Autocomplete Disabled?
I recently built my own ROM using 3.5 Pre-Release 1.2 and realized that when I type out a message the autocomplete feature isn't active, I type the beginning of a commonly typed word and nothing comes up.
Is this feature a seperate package that I left out? |
I posted this in one of the other threads.
Make sure your registry matches these settings. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\keyboard layout\Preload] @="e0010409" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\keyboard layout\Preload\1] @="e0010409" |
I don't have either of those registry entries. How do I add them? I'm using Total Commander for my registry editor. What's the type of key I'm adding? String, DWORD, etc. Thanks!!
Edit: Actually, I do have them both, but mine say 'Default' and not '@'. Does that make any difference? I'm guessing not. My problem is, I think, related to the Palm threaded SMS app. My autocomplete works perfectly until I receive an SMS message, and then it stops working until I reset my 6700. I haven't been able to find a fix for it and thought this might be it, but it doesn't appear so. Any thoughts, or should I start a new thread? /Kevin |
