MSID changes back to 0000000000

Hey.... now the problem is that my MSID does not save as my phone number. I change it and then after it asks me to restart I go back in there and it changed back to 0000000000. Any suggestions?

the msid is usually not ur phone number..its ur mdn..but i had the same problem with my 6700 and i just went to the dial pad npressed ##(whatever ur spc or msl code is)#
then i changed it that way so that the mdn and msid stay inside service programming no matter what!
