Dreaded G'Reloc Error...ARGH!

I am getting the dreaded g'Reloc error with 6.1. I tried copying the BuildOS directory up one tier (the second one) and I tried unrar'ing the oems. One thing I noticed is that if I hit "doit" on the G'Reloc that pops up, I get this...

EFOpenError: Cannot open file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.2.7Temp\temp\dump\.ROM\\S4294967295

Notice the DUPLICATE backslash after .ROM

Any way to fix this?

Not a very common error and no one knows what causes it. I'd just play with the ROM recipe more, e.g choose a different combination and keep it small...

Are you flashing with Vista? I mean with the \adminstrator error?

Re: Dreaded G'Reloc Error...ARGH!

I'm using XP to flash. I guess I will try another computer and see if that helps. As far as size, I get the same error even if I deselect eveything. I've read several of the posts on this error, but I had not seen one that mentioned the path having the extra backslash.
Thanks for the reply,

I disabled my antivirus (Kaspersky) and didn't get a single error. This time ;) Will try a few more times to see if this is really the problem and I didn't just get lucky.

btw yay first post!

I've disabled virus scanner, popup blocker, and spybot. Nothing worked. I've disabled everything that looked like it was extra in any way. Still getting the same error. This is really frustrating. I'd love to use this new BuildOS...
