i have installed the mms hack to send pics and video and its not working for me. it starts to send, but then fails on both pics and video. I used to have the program on phone and it worked fine...i had to re-install today and I don't know what's wrong. can someone offer suggestions please.

I am going to guess you are on Sprint.....just hold on.....the whole forum world knows there is a problem that Sprint has changed something...so that MMS will not work and fail....believe me people are working on this...when there is a fix......it will be posted...just check the above links here and there for a possible fix in the future when one comes up.

For the mean time...use 10digitphonenumber@pm.sprint.com via email to send pics......

Its so ironic that this site commonly has sprint banners at the top of the forum.. and yet the same community that supports them they take action to screw in the end. Just like sprint tv .. this was a deliberate attempt to lock out ppc users from using a service "they dont provide" but sure charge us for.

I was wondering that too. I am sero and on WM5 on my treo700wx...

I submitted a complaint to Sprint. I don't know how much good it will do, but I feel that at least I am letting them know how upset I am with them. If this doesn't get resolved by the time my contract is up, I will be sure to move to another provider.

I dont understand how Sprint cannot see that the lines between "business" phones and consumer phones have been blurred with the release of the iphone and others. I do not use my phone for business but I use just about all that it has to offer in terms of the software, wifi, etc. In my eyes, we should have access to everything that other Sprint users have access to. My phone is just the tool I have chosen...
By the way, Verizon XV6700 has pic mail! WTF!

Sprint has SPECIFICALLY targeted Pocket PC phones. If your # is registered as a non-picmail supported phone they are BLOCKING you from service. Check this thread on Sprint's own forum, which I joined yesterday to post my complaints. Look at post #5 on the thread....

This is interesting...I cannot believe a carrier would do this.

It was a real surprise to me too. Especially when they stated that it was too much trouble to process picmail from PPC phones, and that the programs caused "problems" with the devices. What a cop-out.

I have edited the title of the thread to reflect that this hack no longer works for Sprint users.

Sprint has found a way to block this hack.

Please refer to the following thread to learn how to send picture mail via e-mail:
