PPC 6700 issues
 

I'm having problems trying to get the USB mode to work on my PPC6700. I'm using helmi's version of WM6, version 19716. My problem is that the USB mode on the phone does not work at all for data and reflashing. However when I connect the USB cable to the computer, all it does is charge my phone.

I've tried all of the methods available and even reinstalled ActiveSync but to no avail.

Can anyone help me out here?

A firewall will stop it from communicating and synching. What does your device manager report? Does it even see the device at all?

Try disabling advanced networking.

It's not reading my device at all. I'm talking about if I do a reset into Serial/USB mode, it will stay on Serial despite the cord being connected.

Maybe it's the USB port on the phone being no good.

I did all of the common solutions, like turning on Flight mode, etc.

Start -> Programs -> ActiveSync -> Menu -> Connections -> tick the box "Sync all PCs using this Connection" or all it will do is charge.
