micro sdhc 4gb
 

ok so my cuzin had givin me tomtom for my phone, and i was trying to put it on my 4gb sdhc card on my brothers verizon touch as it was transferring through is phone through active synce he yanks out the cable, and now i cant delete any thing on my sd card, i had tried formating it, on vista, xp, linux. on the phone it self, i can access all the files, but i cant add or delete any thing, when i tried formating with his phone it gave me an error message that said a program was accessing the sd card and it does not have sufficient permision, and this was only when i was trying to do it from the vouge.

There is a really NICE and FREE app called Unlocker (google it) that frees any file or app by killing the process using it. You can try that. I keep it loaded on all my machines. Secondly, are you getting permission errors on XP, Vista and Linux or just Vista? Third, do you have a lock switch on that card? I assume you are fitting the micro in a mini and then a standard SD card adapter right?

i get the permission error from my phone and i have micro to mini for my phone and micro to sd for my computer and i made sure that i didnt have it on lock, ill try the porgram and report back to see what happned,

ok so nothing worked i got in contact with sandisk and they are sending me out a new one.... they told me to drill a hole in my card so none of my data would get stolen... haha
