IPhone Rom

Is it possible to get a rom released with the IPhone settings already installed? I've tried alot of these things and unfortunately I'm not very good at it. BTW I Love what all of you are doing here. It's the main reason that I Kept my 6700.

not sure if you are familiar with WAD, but in the forums there, they have some user built skins that will configure it mostly like the iPhone. You can find the forum here.

apple is going after anyone and everyone who dares to minic the iphone look and feel. I heard mr. jobs said we will rot in hell for this.

I have tried that wad skin and found it way way to complicated.

I never could get it to look even close to what they had in the screen shots. And I dont think the slider actually worked in that one...

A custom ROM would be cool. :)

A custom ipod rom would be nice but alot of attention is giving to WM6 and its theme, personally I like the look and feel of Vista, but still waiting on my WOW! to begin

You simply need to arange the icons and background. Takes about 5 minutes with WAD. Did you actually read the manual for WAD? As to the slider, there are no working slide locks at the moment for the PPC (there is one in testing by a guy in france but he's not releasing it)

Yes I did read up on it but after messing around with it for 15 min I decided to re-flash and go back to spbMobileShell. I like the digital clock on it better than the ipod one anyway.

With WAD you can make a digital clock in any fasion. Drawing, clock face, text entry... Very versatile. 15 minutes is certainly not enough time. Did you even look at any of the enviroment variables? (%T12% %Day% %Unread:Activesync% etc?) Lots there

Mine

All of it is simply creating shortcuts to the page or programs

Photo viewer=Resco

Maps=MS Live Search (used to be google maps, but ms was better)

Stocks=Stock Quotes for Pocket PC

Ipod=pPod

On the SMS page I can tap the pic with my thumb and either dial the phone of SMS/MMS

Re: IPhone Rom

rlith, that phone looks great, I have recently gotten in to this, and have flashed to several roms. Would love to get my phone like yours, but not familiar with Wad's at the moment. My brain is too full with all this stuff. =) Thanks for everyone's efforts. great forum.
