TouchFLO vs. FTouchFlo

So has anyone used BOTH of these on their Apache. Of course, I don't mean at the same time. I wanted to get other users' input.

I found the actual TouchFLO software from HTC to be too squirly for my taste. The scrolling is eratic and scrolls wicked fast through the screens. It makes it very difficult to use file managers and look for specific files. FTouchFlo on the other hand has been perfection. I have never had any problems with it. I even beamed it over to my Axim X51v and it works great on it too.

I have not been able to get a good ROM image with the touch flow options selected. Are there specific items you need to select with the rouch flow option? What items did you select when you built your ROM? Would you mind posting your config txt file?

I hate FTouchFlo. It kills off the sound of touch screen and hardware buttons. Audio feeback is so critical to me that I'd rather use the scroll bar than to use FtouchFlo without sound. This is my own personal feeling towards it, but others would have their own, I'm sure.

To me, HTC TouchFlo is very very nice, and I've tried it on a very buggy cooked ROM. Unfortunately, I'm unable get hold of the cab to install it on my own prefered ROM.

To get an ideal of what HTC TouchFlo is for those of us who wants to try but get get it, you might want to try out Resco File Explorer 2008, which has an in-built TouchFlo. Unfortunately it works only for Resco File Explorer and not on other programs.

I couldn't find a cab with it. I actually beamed it from my boss' Wizard to my Apache. I was surprised it even worked.

I'm surprised there isn't more input on this....
