Request

Hey there, I would like to thank all of you developers of AKU's. This is all exciting news. I would like to request for a thread that states which AKU 3.5 is the most developed. Meaning that most fixes have been resolved.

I am RACKING my brain to see which 3.5 I want to use but there is an infinite amount of posts to keep up with. Even if they are oragized in their current fashion which I also appreciate.

I have 3 AKU 3.5 Downloaded right now. I just want to use a 3.5 AKU that has the most kinks worked out so that I can atleast have the normal features of Sprints AKU.

Thanks much :)

None just yet, but given the rapid advances of the golden base kitchen work, all of them should be bug-free as soon as we get a bug-free base. Which is moving along well...

Currently the one you would want is

ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks...._r1.2-pre2.rar

The only issues are, no btdun, help links , and the modem link..

Both of you thanks for helping. I know everything here is moving at a fast pace here. Which is really good. Also why I can't keep up lol. I will definately give that version a try. Heck I just got an ex girlfriend a ppc6700 that I JUST finished putting 3.3 ApacheAKU on lol. I didn't want to flash hers with something not too stable since I won't have access to it (670 miles away) but if those are the only issues, then I will flash hers right now with it, then mine following :)

Thanks alot.

Well those are the only issues we know about. None of these ROMs have had any kind of extensive testing, so keep that in mind.

OK cool I will, I noticed the Apache/Sfaure03/HELMI_Apache_3.5_KITCHEN_PPC-GEEKS_r1.2-pre2.rar is not an installer like I am used to with other ROMS. I even went to the post containing this file and did not see instructions on getting it onto the phone. Any help here I would appreciate thanks :)

Do you have winrar installed? Extract out one of the other custom installers that you've used into a folder and then take the nk.nbf file out of the r1.2-pre2 archive and drop it into that folder, overwriting the existing nk.nbf. Make sure there are no other .nbf files in there.

yes I have winrar. I took out the nb.nbf out of a 3.3 rom. This is where I am stuck. In the r1.2-pre2 I do not see a nb.nbf file to overwrite

the r1.2-pre2 is a kitchen, not a cooked rom. It is not yet "cooked" which is why you do not have a .nbf file.

I see. so I just dropped the nb.nbf file into the r1.2-pre folder. Now all I need to happen I guess is to load it onto the phone. But this I do not have knowledge of since it is not an installer file.
