I still like the today plugin called simply 'launcher' it's free, low mem profile, and once setup one handed op is great. I use it all the time!

Once installed and activated on the today screen, copy shortcuts you want displayed int the 'launcher' folder in the root of your device.

begin using...

SPB PocketPlus does everything I need (quicklaunch, device monitor, application close, task switcher, etc.)

However, DevStat is a great little utility as well....and it's free!

The nice thing about this was it was a today screen task manager, app launcher (with command/parameter support), and device monitor as well. Plus it is a lot less memory intensive than SPB PocketPlus.

I just need the tab support of pocketplus since I have so many programs/games installed.

based on the above statements I tried devstate, and well, yeah it's pretty cool. Just depends on if you want 4-5 icons + nice task-man (devstate) or up to 9 icons + nothing else (launcher). If you want more than that then you would want something with tabs...

I use iLauncher as well on 700wx and love it as app launcher, task manager and battery/memory monitor.
