Getting ICS to work on 6700 ?
Could someone walk me thru how to get "Internet Connection Sharing" to work on a 6700. I have the 6.0 Kitchen.. It saids connected on the phone when I click connect, but nothing happens on the PC. The PC did ask for drivers which it found after I started "ActiveSync" and then exited out of it.
I'm running Win2k on the PC and I usually get a prompt saying that a new network has been detected but I'm getting nothing at all and I don't have "ActiveSync" running. So, what am I missing here ? I think I may have had this issue before when trying to use the WmiRouter program which I finally gave up on... Any ideas... |
Re: Getting ICS to work on 6700 ?
Kevin Tofel at jkontherun has a great how-to video on ICS here: http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkonther...-use-inte.html
I've never used Windows 2000, so I don't know if it will apply to what you're trying to do, but it was the best tutorial I've come across. kal |
