No Sprint Vision with 3.5 Kitchen ROMs????????
 

Does anyone know a fix for vision (IE, GoogleMaps etc.) not working with a 3.5 ROM Kitchen build. I have tried all the 3.5 kitchens out there to no avail. I started with a hard reset, default sprint radio, Ext, and ce install. I then cooked a blank ROM and loaded that via bootloader. Voice and text msg works fine, but no vision services. I have tried the old flight mode off then on and also going back through the vision setup in connections. All prepackaged 3.5s work as well as all 3.3. Any ideas?

some of your ext_rom is not installing. make sure you load the sprint configuration files in your extended rom, as they add the vision setup for your internet.

Also be sure to go to

Start>Settings>Phone>Services>Internet>Get Settings>Start

This may be why you are not getting Vision.

I have the same issue with Verizonguy's Kitchen. If I install a ROM made from his Kitchen then my GPRS does not connect.

I even did the Client-Initiated IOTA and it failed with a Kitchen ROM but if I install Verizonguy's prebuilt ROM the GPRS conencts fine.

I have tried the original Sprint EXt_rom and all other versions in every different combination. Can't run the STRAT IOTA because the connection fails. Do the kitchens load any parts of the ext_rom that may be getting overwritten?

Do you have good signal strength? And do you see it trying to connect to 777?

I see mine trying to connect to #777 and it just fails over and over again.

Yeah, any prebuilt 3.3 or 3.5 works for me. Also, any 3.3 kitchen build works for me, but no 3.5 kitchen. It almsot has to be something that is getting changed/overwritten when the Ext_Rom loads??? I wish I knew what is in the kitchen from the ext_rom. There must be some piece of it in there that is causing a conflict.

Sprint, and have flashed my ROM more than a hundred times with all thr various combinations. They all work except 3.5 kitchen built.
