Verizion BL 2.05 WM 6.1 is no go on my phone. HELP. PLease
 

I'm having some real difficulty with this new bootloader 2.05. I recently had a bad display on my old 6700 so i took it to verizon and they swapped it out. I bring it home run BuildOS, cook me up a new rom, upload it to the phone, restart, get my first splash screen, then i get a black screen. I hear the prompts for the calibration, but it's just a bnlack screen. It now doesn't connect to WMDC, i'm on vista, and so i'm having trouble uploading a new rom to it. I thought maybe the phone was bad, so i went to VZW again and swapped it out, but this phone has the same problem. Can anyone help me solve this?

I'm in the midst of getting a sd card reader so i can try flashing using th SD, back to original. If someone knows of a better soution please advice.

Also how can i get WM6.1 on my phone? is it possible?

THANKS to all, I've been able to cook several rom before and upload but this new bootloader must be the issue. PLEASE please Help.

thanks Gambatte. Thought that was only if i got stuck in bootloader mode. Did everything on an XP machine worked great. Put on Hemli 6.1 and everything's working. The only thing is i have to extrract the nb.nbf from the temp folder and place it in the bootlader NO_RUU folder and run it taht way for it to work. Does that right to anybody else. Not a biggie since it works, but if i can cut out a step, that's be nice.

He thinks he may have downgraded wrong. He's using Vista, too. Maybe some insight on the RUU to use, etc. I've never had to downgrade and always used the "standard". Maybe give some cooking lessons as well. He's trying WM6 but I don't think he would mind if he got 6.1 working. He's a liitle down thinking he's a brick so maybe even a little morale support. I'll give you a THX in advance.
