Squeeling sound coming from screen?
 

Arrrgh! For some reason, all of a sudden, if I have my screen turned on I hear this anoyying squeeling sound coming from my unit. Anyone have any suggestions?

Take it to the Sprint Repair shop and get it replaced. TEP insurance is $7.00 a month but has saved my **s several times in the past!

I had that happen randomly every couple days or so, but at some point the noise stopped completely. Perhaps that was from one of the rom updates, so if you haven't already then try that first.

You dont have it over clocked do you?

I don't have the thing overclocked. I have the $7.00 plan so I can always get it replaced...but the thing is this is one of the red-labled phones and I want the white-led light keyboard because I can't see the one with the blue-led very well. Now I've read the disassembly manual someone here made and I think I see how to sperate the top half from the bottom half. Since I have another 6700 that I never use, I think I'll just try to switch the screens on them.
