Can't get on FACEBOOK
 

Hey, I'm trying to get on facebook, and for some reason, my browser will take me to the site, but I can't log in. Anybody else have this problem?

It is working well for me, but I have noticed that if you try to login directly on the facebook's main page, it WILL NOT work, but if you click on the login link at the top and then login, it will work. Make sure that you login at http://www.facebook.com/login.php - Hopefully it will work for you now.

nah, its giving me an error right away now. Saying check the name over

Instead of accessing the desktop version, try the mobile version: http://m.facebook.com/

It works much better for me than the desktop version.

I think its because I have sprint, cuz it won't let me do that either

I have Sprint as well, and I have no problems logging in. What is the exact error you are getting? Are you using IE or a different browser?

i use mobile facebook which was only for cingular users at one point. Now i think anyone can access it from their web browser. I just did a few minutes ago and it worked flawlessly.

yea i am having the same issue? I am running it on explorer, and it wont allow me to log in, it loads it and then just stops, no message or anything. it works when i run it on the opera browser, but that free trial is about to expire. Oh and im on verizon. any help?

also, i've tried all of the differnt ways to login to facebook ie m.facebook, and i pinged it for facebook, and they said that it was something with my browser. and i've erased all of my cookies and that stuff

Same here, sprint and it doesnt seem to work with facebook.com or m.facebook.com either.

Try using opera mobile I have had the best luck with it and facebook. Google it and you will find a thirty day trial.

I have Sprint and I haven't had any trouble logging in Facebook.

I had that problem on the mobile site with PIE. There should be a link on the mobile site somewhere that is an alternate login site that you can use that should work. You could also use something like opera mobile or another browser as they work for the normal site for me.

I really dont want to have to pay for it after the 30 days... the craziest thing is that it worked for more then a year, and then just stopped. Facebook told me to reinstall internet explorer, how should i do this?

The same thing happened to me. At first I couldn't log into the main page, but if I clicked on the login link in the left-side frame I could then log in.
Then I updated to WM6, and that work-around stopped working.
I can get into the mobile facebook page, but it is sort of gimped, and doesn't allow you to view the discussion boards of a group.
I believe it is some sort of PIE problem

Can anyone tell me how i could reinstall internet explorer? Apparently that should do the trick, my 30 day trial with opera has just run out
