PPC6700 BT Rings where?

Heya all, searched around, but couldn't find an answer anywhere.
And couldn't find any settings on the phone itself for this.

How does one go about telling the phone whether to ring only on the device for an incoming call, or ring only through the BT headset, or ring on both?

It seems to decide this at random, /for/ me. What the heck?

Have a Sprint PPC6700 loaded with the WM6 5.2.1933 kitchen release loaded, and a Jabra BT510 Voyager.

If you have the BT paired it will auto ring through the earpiece. There is nothing you need to do on the headset.

The problem is that I don't want it to. I can't hear it, since I have it always paired and only wear the headset when I need to. I would like it to either ring through both the hand- and head- sets, or just the handset so I can hear the ring.

Any ideas?

You select the phone to ring or not from the phone, you select the headset to ring or not from the headset... read the instructions on the headset, there should be a way to turn the ringer off.

Yes, but we're back to the point that I cannot find any option anywhere that allows for turning the ringer on or off on the phone(sending everything to headset. Turning the ringer completely off altogether, I've found. That does not help.). In any of the settings or connection panels. It just automatically does not ring from the phone, only rings on the headset, when paired (as stated by Weedahoe).

I was hoping that someone had seen a way to do it.

Windows Mobile 6 on the PPC6700 Apache.

Noone has any ideas?

Perhaps I could disable the autoswitching in the registry of the phone?

Do you have voice command installed? If so try Clicking the Start Button > Settings > Voice command. Click notifications and select announce through headset.

Nice call! Yes, I do, though I've not been able to get it to consistently work. I set it to "announce through device speaker/wired headset only." I hope this works. :)

Yes, this worked. A weird ring is now issued through the headset. The handset rings as normal, and announces the call.

Now if only voice command also allowed me to /make/ a call by voice (I know my headset supports it!).
