Back up contacts
 

Does anyone know how i can put (save) my contacts to my memory card before i do a hard reset? i already tried it on my activesync but my contacts is not visible and it doesnt sync with my outlook express... thanks

anyone??? im still running Aku2.2 and i wanna try the 3.5.... :cry:

You can't save them from aku 2.x and use them in 3.5 without activesync. You can use the pc or you can use mail2web to sync over the air (my favorite)

Haven't tried this one, but I believe it's written by the same guy that did the task manager program that's really very good. In the thread, they say you can backup from 2003 restore to 2005 or vice versa, so it seems like it'd be worth a shot since it's all within 2005.

I use and recommend NS Contacts Backup. It makes a simple backup into one file and is easy to restore. I keep mine backed up on my SD card, although you could easily keep a copy on a desktop computer, or in a server based email. You would be almost garunteed to never lose your contacts.

Thanks for all the help and Ultima i will try that !!! i tried to do mine with activesync for the last time last night since i figured a way to get my contacts to appear on it it downloaded all this stuff on my address book (email contacts from gmail) but i cant import my contacts from my PPC( it doesnt show on my PC!!) so while deleting close to 200 useless contacts it added on my phone i accidentally erase bout a 100 of my contacts from my PPC :cry: i know i should have check before saying yes but i was frustrated and wasnt thinking right.......well at least i retain bout 20 or so of my contact before i realise what i did :(
