Jacking with the ftp. Just admit an honest mistake
 

Someone has messed with the Sprint 3.3beta3 download I had posted. If this is an honest mistake, please just let me know as these things happen. My concern, though, is that someone is placing malicious files there. The file is still named the same, but only 4MB. I will probably just delete it as I do not want to unleash some virus just to see what is there.

Please be mindful when downloading stuff from the ftp.

it scans clean, zip looks normal as far as I can tell when I hex it.

Looks like it was u/l'd at 1:40am whereas all your others are not.

I was asleep at 1:40 am :roll: honest!

Something more needs to be done for the ftp. This isn't cutting it.

I'm thinking Mike could setup two usernames. One for the public which has permissions set to be able to see and download only. Another ID with write access for those of us who develop and need write access.

Another alternative would be setting permissions so everything is read only except an upload folder. Mike would then need to go through and actually move everything to the appropriate directory.
