How to fix Unread TXT Count?

I did search and came up with nothing (maybe not searching for right phrase).

ANyway, have not had a problem till just now.
The unread count is stuck on 1 and I have checked all the accounts (outlook, txt and mms). None of the accounts have a new msg but yet the count still says there is one (the HTC Home count AND when I click on the pull down to select which account to look at).

Using a Custom WM6.1 Cooked ROM.

And like I said this just started today. Have not had any issues with it till just this morning.

Thanks.

I have this also, there was something in the kitchen that fixes the unread count. It's an application you have to select

this isn't really a fix for the problem but, you can just hit clear txt messages then the unread count will be reset but all your messages will be gone but u can do a txt msg backup

Actually, mine cleared up when I clicked on mark all as read....fixed the unread count issue.
Have not had an issue with it since.

if anyone is still having the problem and doesn't have 'mark all as read' in the menu options, here's the cab to put it in there.

Thank you very much for that. I know I shouldn't bump the old thread, but seriously I was looking all over for this! It was getting old looking through most messages when I didn't have to.
