Kirvin C&S 3.5 WM5 ??
 

Could someone be nice enough to explain the features of this particular ROM since I have seen that a few people are using and not going to WM6 ?
I would hate to have to go thru the trouble of flashing it to find out that it's not one that I liked....

This ROM...is a very clean version....with no verzion ware...junk programs things that you really dont need for the phone to operate....so you end up with more storage/program memory....and program memory is very important for the response and operation of the phone.

I have the Sprint version....and I would have to say...I am very very happy and about 98% of programs WM5/WM6 will install and run just fine. I tried WM6..etc...but I went back to WM5

Will the overclocking program "Performance" run on this ? I thought I saw "Weed" say that it was running on his ? If it does - I'm very close to flashing this now....lol...

I suppose there are no OEMs or Kitchen that I can use to install programs that I like ?
What programs come with it, or is just a bare WM5 ?

Dont know about the program "performance"..weed has a list on his sig...if it is there....it should run fine....I have XCPUScalar and it loads and runs ....I been using this rom for about a yr...and I too was one of those people that jumped to the WM6 wagon.....but after a while it phone just was not acting the way it was with WM5..so I went back.....and stayed.

I do run that ROM and the VZW verison. It is 3.5 build 1.02 although there was a build 1.04. I do overclock bith with Pocket Hack Master v4.33 and am at 624. I went to WM6 when it came out even though I knew it was full of bugs. I went back to my previous ROM and have tried 6.1 but went back again. I have a list of apps and tweaks done to my device but not on my sig at the time as I have another link there on my 87 442 for sale (wanna buy it?). It is a fast and streamlined ROM that was clean and not over loaded with what someone else thought was good apps. A lot of people hated to see him leave because he did good work. I know the whole story Mods and I read everything on this board as well as 3 others and Im not getting into it. I personally would like to see him come back as he took some things and made them better. Improvements, tweaks and hacks are always good IMO. Anyway, its a good ROM if you ask me. Now no one really makes thier own and many dont remember how or know how, they just use a kitchen. My phone is with that ROM and all custom done hacks and tweaks and then I made a clone image (which I do periodically) and back it up.
