New ##Code dialer application for AKU3.5
Since ##code is broken in AKU 3.5, I wrote a simple ##code dialer application. It is here:
ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....one%20Code.zip I only tested on sprint6700. Download, unzip then create a shortcut. Enjoy. |
Awesome job man!

the file is not in the ftp any more. could you post it again? Thanks,
|
FYI - This does not work on Verizon. Us VZW guys are still hoping for a solution.
Verizonguy has something in the works on his new Rom 3.5 release. Look for his thread if you're on verizon. I'm sure he'll spill the beans on what he did to fix it. - RX8 - |
Hopefully we do not need this application any more since someone has found the solution to make it work with builtin dialer. Verizon folks, please try using the # key for the last digit instaed of the talk buuton. If you still need this, please post all the verizon codes here, I can create a verizon version. The sprint version is still under in ftp under lightsail folder.
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Apache/Lightsail/Phone Code _sprint6700.zip . If you have difficulty, please try CoreFtp. |

Works ##778 ##775 #3424 Does not work ##7764726 ##374 #4357 #33284 ##3328873 If it's not too much trouble to create a Verizon version, that'd be nice to have. If not, like a mentioned before, verizonguy seems to have found a fix for it in his rom (which isn't available quite yet). Don't know if you need more info, but here's everything from the "Customize_105201.sa.CAB" <parm name="Prog0" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe ##778" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key0" datatype="string" value="#778" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog1" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe ##7764726" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key1" datatype="string" value="#7764726" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog2" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe ##374" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key2" datatype="string" value="#374" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog3" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe ##775" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key3" datatype="string" value="#775" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog4" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe #4357" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key4" datatype="string" value="4357" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog5" datatype="string" value="FieldTrial.exe" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key5" datatype="string" value="#33284" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog6" datatype="string" value="EPST.exe ##3328873" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key6" datatype="string" value="#3328873" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Prog7" datatype="string" value="DMRouter.exe" translation="filesystem"/> <parm name="Key7" datatype="string" value="#3424" translation="filesystem"/> Thanks for the work you've done. - RX8 - |
If you're willing to put in the work, lightsail, I think this app is a great idea. Even if the ## codes are fixed, it seems like it would be a lot less screen taps to get into the PST. (2-3 for your app versus at least 7 for the old way). I haven't tried your app, but if you make it work with the joystick and/or softkeys that's even better!

verizon prl updates no longer working with aku 3.5 ppc
I'm not sure if anyone else noted this or not but i just had to hard resert and downgrade in order to get my prl updates done . Does anyone know if this has to do with the phone app not working and will this verizon version fix this?? I understand theres a maual way to do it but is that our only option?
|
The PRL update didn't take for me either, but supposedly several attempts will eventually do it. I'll try it a few more times and then probably do it manually

##33284# doesnt work... fieldtrial is not there
I flashed saridnours's pr4 and it comes with your phone codes app lightsail, however when i try the ##debug# it doesnt work. i think fieldtrial.exe was not in the rom. I found the zip file for fieldtrial.exe and copied it to \windows but now when i try to run it it says "unable to open port". What might be wrong?
