why cant i send email from my phone
 

I try to send email through my sprint email. I called coustomer support and they helped me set it up. I can download my email but when I try to send am email the message goes to the drafts folder and I get this in my inbox.

what are your settings in outlook?

pop 3

pop.sprintpcs.com is the incoming
smtp.sprintpcs.com is the outgoing

play with the options in there.
outgoing mail requires authentication
make sure use separate settings option is not checked

it isnt checked

I had this same problem a few days ago


make sure "outgoing mail requires authentication"

IS

checked

then you can send your mail.

ps. I don't know how mine became unchecked either as I had the program "automatically" detect my settings when I typed in my email address
