You shouldn't. If the nk.nbf is there, it should install.

rebooted pc, ver'd all files mentioned are there.. and still no change...

now downloading it again to try it but i can't see this making a difference since winrar was able to unzip the .zip file with no errors...

can you think of anything else i can try?

jus for the sakes of trying i leeched Col3.3beta3BlankExtRom.zip

and that also showed updates to be installed.. the telus rom is downloading right now...

also for the sakes of troubleshooting i removed ms_.nbf from the dir and ran MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and then it took the time to find the specs and listed the update for the CE image...

ok, 2nd copy finished downloading... no change

also extracted the original telus rom update, took the ms_.nbf and replaced it with yours.. ran the update and the same thing.. remove ms_.nbf and it scans the device for specs and comes up with the ce image...

btw, i went through this also with beta2..

you know what.. i have a good feeling telus locks the ext rom thats why this is happening...

This has been bugging me too. I have found that switching themes will bring them back, at least untill the phone decides it doesn't want to display them properly anymore, or if I reset the phone. Also, this seems to only happen on programs that are installed on the memory card.

For those of you using Voice command and feel the bt volume is too low sometimes, make the following reg entry changes for vc. i have been searching for how to change the volume and finally found it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Soundcategories\Voi ceCommand1
"attenuationCategory" currently at 3, change to 1
"InitVol" currently at 5, change to 3

Hey guys, I have been happy with 3.3.3 for some time. I did upgrade to a 3.5 rom, then came back to 3.3.3.
Now, bluetooth headset doesn't work! I can hear the person on the line just fine, yet they cannot hear me. I have tried putting in my VC 1.6 into /windows directory, etc., to no avail.


I have used the headset just fine with my RAZR. Any ideas?

yeah me too went 3.5 and back to3.3.3 and i like it, oh try a hard reset fixed mine :)
