Copying Contacts.....
 

Hello all,
Quick question....I just picked up a Moto Razr Maxx Ve from Verizon for FREE due to my New Every Two Discount. I want to mess around with it, but I am not sure how to get my contacts, possibly even appointments(wish) from my 6700 to this phone. Anyway to do it on a Mini to micro SD card? I would like to eventually (hopefully) clone the ESN of my Razr to my 6700 so I can have the 6700 for work, shut it off when I get home, and use the Razr for play, or when I need something a little smaller. Main question is to get my contact from one to the other....any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

You cant transfer items like contacts and calender appointments from a PPC to a regular phone. The way the 6700 stores them isnt readable by the Razr and the Razr cant sync. You cannot clone the ESN from the Razr to the 6700 because it is different hardware and wont match up. If you into your VZW account you will see a pic of your phone and it knows it is your phone by the ESN stored in VZW database. You can however use thier website to change your ESN to use whatever phone you want whenever you want. But on your contacts, one by one buddy. I dont think VZW can even transfer them on thier nice little machines they have.
