Bluetooth is skipping really bad
 

I have just flashed my PPC-6700 with Helmi's AKU 3.3, but after connecting my bluetooth headset, the songs just skips really bad using WMP.

Im using a Wirevo bluetooth headset with my ppc.

Any suggestions or hacks or reg edit I need to do to fix this???

there is a thread somewhere around here explaining how to fix that problem.... i honestly forgot what to do about it, but the answer is somewhere around the forums :D

Anyone want to test a reg tweak that could correct this? I am looking to add this change to my next rev and want it tested a bit more first.
This shoudl stop skipping when a song starts with WM player as well.

PM me... Need your rom version and quick detail of issue (skips at first, always , etc)

Want feedback from a few first, then Ill post the best key values.

I posted this earlier, but not certain if it will help anyone. My phone has been highly customized far beyond that of my last flash:
(rom version: Colonel 3.3 with twist 2/13/07) (Sprint carrier)

After countless hours of trial/error - I got lucky(?) by way of reinstalling older version of xcpuscalar..and BT stereo now works with everything, including audio books. :-)

It doesn't make any sense to me, but I don't really care. Even when I reboot the xcpuscalar stays active in the Task Manager and the audio comes through. This is the trial version of xcpuscalar 2005 ver 2.03. It's a quick download, worth a shot before taking drastic measures! No need to make any changes on it, just installing it did the trick!

Headset BT activation attempts to open dial pad each time though... but no big deal to me, the audio gateway remains open after closing the phone app.

I will soon flash again, but I might have to do some serious research on the differences of the latest roms being produced.

I'm open to trying a registry setting change to see what happens with the BT.
