rom issue
 

I got an insurance replacement for my phone since I dropped it.

I downloaded the latest buildos.. after upgrading rom twice I still get a black screen after the 1st splash. Nothing happens, no sounds no nothing. In both instances I have completed the rom upgrade without any errors to the 100% complete and reset message.

Unlike my previous phone this new one is a rev 2.05 instead of 1.04.

I'm going to a 3rd build with hardly any software and if within 30mins I don't post saying everything is ok its because it didn't work.

In the mean time if anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate that since I have a hunch it won't work. Thanks

Are you loading it with WM6 or 6.1? If 6.1, are you setting the buildos to 2.05?

no choice with os, set to wm6.1 and yes set rev to 2.05.

All I can suggest then is what you are trying. Make a build with as little software as possible. No fancy dialers, no contact managers, etc. Just the plain OS. I had this happen on mine and it ended up being some abstract program I was trying to add.

eliminated a couple of programs and it worked.
