Help!

So I set my apache down on the coffee table this weekend. A couple of hours later I picked it up and the screen looked as such below. I took the whole thing apart and checked all the ribbon connecters on the screen. Everything looks fine internally. When I slide the keyboard out, if i gently flex the screen the lines change locations which indicates a bad or broken connection. Any one seen this before? Any ideas what I can do instead of buying a new one?

Thanks for the pic but if it was clickable to make it more large, that would be nice. What options do you have other than buying a new phone? Well since you have already taken it apart, why not just buy a new screen and replace it?

I have been looking on ebay. All the "parts" phones have broken screens.
Here is a link to the pic. Sorry 'bout that.

I have an old 6700 that I lost over the winter, I found it while cleaning the garage out. You won't be able to activate it, I don't know if you could tear it apart and replace the screen? By the way, were in Oregon do you live? I am moving to the Hillsboro area around June.

How much would you want for it? I live in McMinnville, which is about 45 min. from Hillsboro.

Re: Help!

It's not a crack in the screen. It is being drawn that way. It's like the ribbon has a break in it and it's corrupting the data to the screen. The messed up part is, the touch interface still works perfectly.

Re: Help!

AHA! The screen IS cracked. The diagonal line started bleeding through the LCD this morning. I bet my wife accidentally cracked it and didn't want to say anything. At least now I know it isn't a connection!

Re: Help!

WTF?! So I thought the screen was cracked. The diagonal line had the typical dark LCD bleed coming off of it. Today the bleeding is gone. If the screen were cracked it could not go away, that would be impossible. So I'm back to square one. I still think it may be a connector. Has any one heard of this being possibly caused by a driver or some other piece of software?
