I use BT-Audio this this rom and it works. It is the only way I can listen to the audio on TCPMP with my BT ear piece.

BTToggle

HEy guys, I am running this ROM and have the HT820 Stereo Headset. I just installed BTToggle and everything is working like a champ. Stereo over my headset and the button on the side still calls up Voice Command.

I would suggest installing it.

Here is where they talked about it earlier. Don't do anything with the A2DP since it is already installed.

isamu49: Just to let you know, I have oulled these files (DW's) from the next rom anyway. These should be DoctorWatson and I really do not think MS wants error reporting from Hacked ROMs so.. bye-bye files
It's out of my test rom I am running now.

I also had some trouble with this rom and BT. I solved it by increasing the value of that A2DP key saridnour discusses in his first post:

Quote:
*NOTE2: There is a fix for AD2p Skipping for the first few seconds of the song. This happens in Mediaplayer more than anything else. Basicly the fix will scale the quality of the audio. I did not notice that large of a change from high values to low and picked the value that worked without skipping nearly 100% of the time in WMP. This value can be raised if you use another app TCPMP can use a higher value also if you notice degraded audio this can be set higher if you don't mind the skipping for the first few seconds. Value to modify is:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2 DP\Settings]
"Bitpool"=dword:0000001e
Decimal values range from 58-30 (Highest to lowest)
I think the default is 34. At that value, I had trouble pairing or getting the audio transferred to my BT stereo headphones. Now, I've got that value set at 50 or more. Yes, I do get some initial skipping with WMP, but it's not too bad and sometimes there no skipping at all. I haven't noticed any skipping with TCPMP. I may try experimenting with a lower value to see if the skipping stops in WMP. But other than a few seconds of skipping, my stereo BT headphones work very well. Anyway, for those having touble with BT, you might try this.

I think the reason why this voice cmd .exe error is b/c when haven't purchased voice cmd .exe 1.6 and upgraded from 1.5. so whats in the windows dir is 1.5 and this is why its not working. If thats the case that sucks, but that will stop me from trying to fix that issue. I got the BT to play longer than 10s so I guess my WOW! starts now.

P.S
Although I got audio to my BT headset it sucks, so all that work I don't even won't it to come through. guess knowledge isn't power just more confusing and headache.

On to the next problem great work saridnour, colonel helmi_c, ImCokeMan and all of the PPCGeeks who I forgot to mention...

evilgenius: The VC in the build is 1.6 as 1.5 will not work on any AKU 3+ builds. Also if the audio is not good from your bt headset, try increasing the value I specified in the earlier post form 34 to 58. It may skip at 58 in WMP but just see if that makes it sound better. Follow the guidelines in that post about adjusting the value to suite your needs and the app your running.

Right I know its all VC 1.6 but I didn't know we had to pay to pay for the upgrade and put that exe in the windows dir to replace the one thats in there right now. But if you're saying we don't have to pay for the upgrade and it should be working fine without, then yes I have an error. If not I know I have to go and purchase the upgrade and it will work fine.

And as far as the quality in the BT it has nothing to do with the ROM and the volume right now is 50. Its just not good quality no matter how loud it is I will just go get a better BT set that plays better quality. But thanks for the repley

evilgenius: The ROM does not come with a VocieCommand.exe so you MUST place one in yourself or you don;t have VC, so I am not sure of what you are stating. You need to BUY vc 1.6 and extract the exe from it and copy it to the windows dir. The BT value is not a volume value but a quality value. To high of quality value will casue skipping in WMP but not in others so I default it to a lower value, one I do not notice a skip or a quality loss. But this may be dofferent to different people.

Ok I'm all set now and I thank you for your quick repley, I haven't purchase the Voice Cmd 1.6 as of yet. So that was the problem. The BT quality is now set to 50 and I'm not noticing any skipping with TCMP.

ROM version 3.5pr4 sp1

Installed the following:

Voice Command. Had errors.

then deleted the entire Voice Command entry out of the registry.

then: deleted everything out of windows/startup. (except for Voice command entries)

Works great.

then: Set XCPUScalar to autostart

Voice Command No longer works.

then: Set XCPUScalar to NOT autostart

Voice Command works again.

Hopefully this will help those out there needing this. Took me a good bit of trial/error troubleshooting.
(note: I ran the install of VC instead of just copying the file over as designated because copying the voicecommand.exe file over wasn't working)

Moral of the story...It appears there is a timing issue in the startup (like VC needs to load first or last or alone), or potentially a compatibility issue.
Maybe I can find a method to delay the startup of XCPUScalar or just start if manually from now on.
