s2u2 and spb time

Hey all,
Long time visitor, first time poster on these forums...first off, great site and i greatly appreciate all the hard work everyone has done on the ppcgeeks.com side as well as the ppckitchen.org side.

Anyway, i have an issue with slide to unlock (s2u2) and an application i use primarily for alarms called sbp time.

Anytime I have s2u2 installed on my xv6700 (verizon), my alarms set in sbp time do not go off if the phone is turned off. i even went through some of the s2u2 settings to to disable the following options:

lock when device wakes up - OFF
lock when backlight turns off (on battery power) - OFF
power off in (on battery power) - OFF
don't suspend power (advanced) - OFF

i really like s2u2 as my locking application because it prevents my phone from unlocking in my pockets. does anyone else have a nice application to use for alarms?
