Windows Mobile 5 Needed Please.
 

:( I'm Looking for WM5. I bought a phone on E-Bay and I install the WM6 on it, but for some reason, after I charge the phone, the screen went bright White on me. I can bearly see the letters and screen and I dont know what is happening, so I have to put WM5 back on it so I can send it back to them for replacement. Anybody had this issue? Anybody know a link to WM5? I want to put it on my minicard if I could. Thanks in Advanced...

dont worry its ptobably not ur phone u put to many oems into it the same thing happen to me try flashing it again but dont pick to many apps and it should work

This means I just go back to the BUILDOS and choose everything again, but with less selections, and this will replace everything I got on it right now with the new ones? Trying right now. If you have what I need to choose only, can you please let me know? I'm new at this so I just dont know what a lot of this are, and there is no button in the BUILDOS that says like STANDARD SETTINGS for Newbies.

lol yes exactly do exactly as you did before but with less options of course still get the applications u really want lik i picked word mobile and MusicId because i really wanted them but yeah

I only choose 37 Items and 14 of them are all the games and It still really bright for me to see. Any other suggestions?

I try it and it came to this:

ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR

The ROM image that you are trying to use is not designed to work on your device. Please check the vender Web site and download the correct ROM update.

Thank You. Im Still checking everywhere and here, but nothing. The phone is still with a bright white screen on it.

I have another phone with me that the WM6 worked on it, can I just transfer everything that I got there to the new one and see if that will fix the problem?
How do I do it? I'm a newbie. Thanks for all your help.

you might have got that white screen because you had it clocked to 624mhz too. but if you didn't choose the overclock program it could be due to all the oems you got. hope all turns out well

Can someone take the time to tell me what to choose to install or give me a link to download WM5 to install instead of WM6 to fix this? Anything else? Can I Update the phone again and install the right programs? Anything guys, like I said, I have another phone here with me that everything on it worked fine, can I transfer all to the other one to work? Thanks for using all your brains guys...

Can you tell us your bootloader version? I hope it isn't 2.05.

We just worked through this issue here

You may have to downgrade your bootloader to 2.02.
