The process? Reflash the stock verizon ROM and allow the extrom to install. Then do a master reset (one step above a hard reset), get the latest Verizon PRL and have Verizon reprogram your phone.

I have another idea. I think i heard that RWipe was one of the problems in the RUU log. Could you try to use mtty? There are many places that have instructions on this and i believe you will need specific drivers for the mtty program as well. At this point i'd prefer not to post those files or more detailed instructions and instead have you read some other pages which discuss this. Or perhaps have someone else explain and link the files. I have used mtty once, but never really needed it. This is why i don't want to give the definitive answers, plus i know there are others that have used it to fix something.

What did you flash to get into this mess? Your radio should never be touched unless you try to flash another radio.nbf.

You say it will not let you upgrade. What are you flashing then? Have you gone back to an official upgrade from your carrier.

Haven't read all replies. But I can tell extactly that: the HTC64 encoder damaged the radio NBF and you flash it, so the boot sector of the 6700 radio was damaged.
I think the only way to repair this is unsoldier the radio chip SAMSUNG k5d5657aca and copy a normal boot sector to it with PROGRAMMER, then re-soldier it.

for upgrade Radio is not like easy like GSM, just replace with the new one, and done.

My case is diferent, because i've replace with the wrong radio, and the radio was failed, try to use the official rom, still don't want to upgrade. Anybody have instruction to use mtty for CDMA, not GSM.

I am having the same problem with my radio stack. It all started when I called Sprint to upgrade my wifes phone and it did an automatic update to my PPC-6700. First, I would just lose my phone once in awhile. It looked like it was stuck in Flight Mode. Then, I tried to put everything back to stock by running the UTStarCom file "APA_SPCS_20600_303_12700_WWE_Ship" when it was in this Fight Mode and it stuck on 0% when loading the radio stack and then after about 5 minutes I got a error stating that it failed to load the stack. No matter what I have tried I cannot get my 6700 to take a radio stack load. Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Re: Verizon Radio Rom problems

I am also having the same problem as everyone else. Everytime I try to install the "APA_SPCS_20600_303_12700_WWE_Ship" the progess bar in my windows vista machine gets stuck on 0% and my 6700 gets stuck on "Ungrade Radio Stack Please Wait..." Please help!
