Blank WirelessSync Screen after Helmi_C & Colonel's Roms
This is my 1st post to the forum. So, please bear with me. :)
I'm a Verizon user. And, I've installed the rom & worked out every issue except one. My WirelessSybc screen is now blank & doesn't show the results of the sybc session anymore. Are there any Verizon users out there who have experienced this &/or know of anyway to restore the text on the screen??? I hard reset & reflashed the last Verizon rom just to verify that the screen was working. And it was. The screen didn't go blank until I flashed with this rom & with Helmi_C's rom. -- FYI, I've tried it both WITH and WITHOUT the Verizon customization. In both cases, it's still blank. The only part of the VZ Rom that I have installed now are the WirlessSync & MMS apps. Anyone????? Thanks in advance! And HUGE thanks to Helmi_C, Colonel & everyone making this so easy for the rest of us! http://www.dlggraphics.com/WirelessSync_screen.gif |
Same issue here...
This is my first time flashing with an unofficial ROM, but I've run into the same issue. I'm not sure yet whether the text is just blank, or if the sync isn't working...

the sync is working.....mine has done it from the start of the 3.3 rom

Same here... If you go to MENU the VIEW then SESSION you can view that session info.

Thanks for responding! At least I know it's not just me now. WirelessSync works fine, just no immediately viewable results (wthout going into the menu).
Everything else is running without fail. Hopefully someone will find a registry fix for this issue. |
Just curious if you've downloaded the latest version of the sync client. You can download the cab directly to your phone from this address.

Yes. I've tried that download version as well as the VZW ROM version. still the same

Weird, the new version of Wireless Sync for WM5 looks like the Smart Phone Version. Has anyone else noticed this, or have a copy of version 7 that has the normal look and feel?
