- i understand that this is already stickied..but where can i find these cabs..the ftp site does not work for me for some reason, can someone put it to rapidshare or something in one zipped folder?

You can hard reset and let your phone goes through its customizations

thats the thing, somehow,somewhere, my phone has all SPRINT ext roms cab files...

then you do a hard reset and let it download everything from VZW (unless its originally a sprint phone and thats why it has Sprint cabs). But why do you want the carriers cabs anyway? Most ppl (including myself) stop the customizations to make more room in the ext rom

im not sure..i see a cab in there for data connection..so i just want to install that .cab and see if it works.

i cant even call *228 ..it says incorrect code..

If you are looking at those .cabs in the ext rom then they are already installed as after a hard reset the phone will auto download and install those .cabs

like i said, for some wierd reason, i have ALL sprint .cabs in my extrom!

If your phone is VZW phone then back everything up and hard reset. It will automatically download and install the cabs from the carrier. If SOME of those happen to be the same cabs shared between carriers then thats fine. And I guess worst case senario I could use my other phone and hard reset it, let it customize, unlock the ext ROM and then extract them and email them to you.
