Magic Button, Wisbar Advanced, Wisbar Desktop

Which one(s) do you prefer and why? I have all three. But I think I prefer Magic Button. I don't know that the wisbar combo has anything worth paying for, except for repeat notifications (I know there is a reg hack for this, but it does not work right (keeps repeating even after dismiss or you check the notification)).

Your thoughts...

I have 15 different programs in my PPC at this time and I am not currently using any for these. Again, at this time, as I am constant changing my PPC to see what other programs will do

welll I love magic button as many of u know. granted wisbar advanced and desktop are a great way to "dress up" ur today screen, but I didn't like the system lag. (note: I didnt try the .dll shrinker or use with xcpuscalar) As far as duplicate alarms, memmaid will find those. ;)

I have the Magic Button, but I dont think it's working. Might have to reinstall it.

I've tried and used all three at some point.

I use none currently.

I like magic button, except for phone not going away and if you "don't show when inactive" the phone you lose the icon. That and the phone flashes up for a second after you close a program with "dnswi" selected. I like wisbar for the repeat notifications, but the desktop dress up isn't very functional but it looks nice IMO. I would get Phonealarm, but I really do not like or need all the (ugly)buttons it adds to the today screen. I prefer a clean Today screen with just whatever I am using for the wallpaper currently and a couple everyday uses (which wisbar kinda provides). I could never really get wisbar just the way I wanted. I did sometimes get the original theme flashing behind the menubars while using wisbar. I never really noticed lag while using wisbar. What were you trying to do when you get lag?

I was just wondering if anybody could really sell me on one or the other. Some glaring difference that makes one stand out from the other.

wideawake, are you saying if you do the repeat notification hack, memmaid will stop the notification from repeating after you check the notification (the notification keeps going for a couple of minutes on my xv with the hack)? Is memmaid freeware?

I like magic button. This is the first app I installed on my ppc and I kind of get used to it.

no memmaid not freeware, but u can download the beta from here, give it a try. I noticed lag when opening programs, trying to multi task, and the transition from landscape to portrait mode. the phone flashing for a quick sec. never bothered me, so I stick to magic button. But to each his own. right?

Magic Button.

I don't need the rest. DevState on the Today screen gets me all my programs, etc.

Sure the rest look good, but its a lot of trouble, and a lot of space on the device.
