PPC-6700 USB or Bluetooth Tethering with Mac OS X 3.9 HELP!!
I need some serious help on either USB or Bluetooth Tethering with Mac OS X 3.9. I have spent a lot of time researching the subject, and I can get some answers for VX6700, but these don't work with Sprint, or the PPC-6700. Can anyone help me? Is this even possible? I have the current update from Mac for Bluetooth support for OS X 3.9.
PPC-6700 ROM 2.11.20 WWE, Radio 1.27.00, ExtROM 2.06.303 WWE Thanks in advance!! |
Try USB Modem for Windows Mobile 5 from www.mobile-stream.com. It worked for me on my MacBook osX 10.4.8 and my Alltel PPC6700. Alltel currently doesn't allow DUN but USB tethering works great!

Thanks for your suggestion, but......
Thanks for your suggestion, but I was hoping that I could accomplish this without spending money on another program, and/or upgrading to Tiger. Also, since Leopard is coming out soon, I would need another upgrade.
All that I really need is the proper modem script to use the PPC-6700 with a Mac OS-X. Mobile Stream works great, but it is only a 14-day/30 connection trial. Is anybody using a Mac teathered to a PPC-6700? What OS version, etc.? |
